Appalachia service project

Appalachia Service Project is a Christian Ministry, open to all people, that inspires hope and service through volunteer home repair and replacement.  Each summer, a group of Mt. Zion high-school youth, college students, and adults travel to the mountains of Appalachia for a week working to make homes warmer, safer, and drier.  Mt. Zion has been participating in this mission for over 30 years.  Our last trip including three generations from one family.  Serving through ASP is at the heart of the Mt. Zion community. For more information on Appalachia Service Project visit

*This year's trip is from June 16-22.  Email if you are interested in going!

Magical Mountain Christmas

This extraordinary ministry provides toys, Christmas gifts, food, and clothing to many families in the Appalachian Mountains.  One weekend each December, a group of volunteers, including high-school youth, adults, and entire families from Mt. Zion travel to the Appalachian Mountains to share the love of Christmas.
