Mt. Zions 81st Annual BBQ
Saturday, November 7th
This tradition is one that feeds our souls by bringing our church family and community together while funding many of Mt. Zion’s missions and ministries. We will be offering a ‘Take Out’ only menu of BBQ by the pound, Slaw and BBQ sauce to go. This will provide the staples for a great personal gathering or quick, delicious meal for the family. So be sure to RESERVE your BBQ and tell your friends, family and neighbors about this great event. Although this year will look different, it is still the same awesome Mt. Zion BBQ.

WORSHIP AT MT. ZION
Two Worship Opportunities at Mt. Zion: Online and Indoor
The live service will be streamed on the social media platforms and on our website each Sunday at 11 AM beginning November 1. For many of you, worshipping online continues to be the safest way to worship with us. We are so glad that you are part of the online worshipping community. There will continue to be a Worship Guide available containing the order of service and announcements. Remember to register your attendance each week and take the opportunity to leave prayer concerns.
Beginning November 8 - Indoor worship resumes
The Reopening Task Force of Mt. Zion UMC has approved the Sanctuary for worship with a limit of 75 persons in the congregation. Starting on November 8 we will offer indoor worship at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. The Sanctuary will be professionally cleaned between services using an electrostatic disinfectant sprayer.
Pre-registrations for both service times will be made available on the Tuesday at 10 am prior to a given Sunday. Go to the home page of the church website – www.mtzionumc.net to pre-register. You can also pre-register by calling the church office.
Online Worship services will be broadcast live at 11:00 on Sundays through the church website, Facebook, and YouTube. These services will be viewable at anytime later on Sunday or the rest of the week.
Mt. Zion activities during the Covid-19 pandemic will comply with the guidelines of the Western NC Conference.
Prayer Partners - We are starting an awesome new ministry aimed at joining people from the different age groups in our church family in a joint ministry of praying for one another. We would love to have not only children but parents and siblings join as well. If interested please fill out the interest survey CLICK HERE and then you will be matched by Brittany or Stacey, who can also field questions about this program. “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them.” Matthew 18:20
