Christmas at Ada Jenkins

This year Mt. Zion is providing Christmas for 60 families, their 106 children plus 22 single adults.  Each family is given a food-only gift card and the children receive winter clothing and toys selected just for them from their wish lists. The adults will also receive a variety of much needed items and gifts.  Here's how you can help:

Monetary donations - It takes approximately $100 to sponsor an individual child, a family, or an adult.  This ministry relies heavily on your generous gifts and this year we are asking for your continued support.  No donation is too small!  Please consider making a donation to Christmas at Ada Jenkins.  Make your check payable to Mt. Zion and write "Christmas Ada Jenkins" in the memo line.  Thank you!

Volunteers needed to wrap gifts, help on pick-up day (December 16), and extra hands anytime are always appreciated!

Volunteer Opportunity

Santa's workshop is now open and gift wrappers are needed!  The workshop is located in Rooms 209 and 214 in the Education Building. This week's schedule:

Tues, Dec 5   1 pm - 4 pm

Wed,   Dec 6   4 pm - 7 pm

Thurs, Dec 7 10 am - 1 pm

Children's Angel Tree

The Angels are here!  Mt. Zion has committed to provide a special Christmas blessing for 30 local children .  You can help by sponsoring an Angel!  Here's how:

Angel Tree Instructions:

1.  You will receive an Angel's name, age, gender and Angel number along with gift suggestions.

2.  Your goal is to buy approximately 3 gifts per Angel with a total cost of $65 - $75.  All gifts are to be wrapped and tagged with the Angel name and number.  Please include gift receipts (if possible) and also mark with the Angel's name and number.  Place all the gifts in one large plastic drawstring bag with the Angel's name and number written on the outside.

3.  Bring the gifts to the Church library by Tuesday, December 12.  Please indicate "NCC Angel Tree" so as not to be confused with donations for other missions.

To receive your Angel on Sunday mornings, please see Sebra Maines or Amy Scotton between services, or for any other time contact Sebra.  If you have any questions, contact church office.

Christmas is a wonderful time to show love to one another and bless our Neighbors!  Thank you.

Senior Adult Christmas Snow Angels

Mt. Zion is partnering with the CARE Center to celebrate their senior adult neighbors by gifting them with a Christmas gift basket filled with treats.  If you would like to make a monetary donation,  please make your check payable to Mt. Zion and write "NCC Sr. Snow Angels" in the memo line.  We will shop and assemble the baskets for you!
