From our Sonshine Preschool to F.U.E.L. (high-school youth) to Sunday School and small groups for all ages to music and arts, Mt. Zion has many opportunities to participate in ministries and grow as disciples!

  • Children

Our children's ministry is an exciting and vibrant ministry. Our goal is to encourage children to develop an authentic relationship with Jesus by partnering with families to raise children to grow as disciples. Between Sunday School, Sunday afternoon music programs, and Wednesday night programs your child will find a place to connect and grow in discipleship and their love for God and others.

  • Youth

F.U.E.L., which stands for Faith Used in Everyday Life, is our youth ministry for 6-12th grade students. F.U.E.L. invites youth to a new life in Christ and provides a safe place for young disciples to gather, grow, and go out together for Christ.

  • Adults

We invite all adults to take part in a lifelong journey of learning, loving, and living out the Christian faith with us. A variety of classes, studies and special opportunities are available for Mt Zion adults to learn together, to discover new ideas and perspectives on how to live out your faith in your everyday life, and form some great relationships along the way.

  • special needs ministry

Mt. Zion United Methodist Church is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for all children, youth and families. We practice inclusion during Sunday School and special programming.

The Music and Arts Ministry at Mt. Zion seeks to provide opportunities for all ages to offer their artistic gifts, develop their skills, and grow together in faith through rehearsal, fellowship and worship.

  • sonshine preschool

Sonshine Preschool is a weekday ministry of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church for preschool children and their families. Its purpose is to provide a Christian environment in which young children will have experiences that will enable them to develop spiritually, emotionally, socially, physically and mentally.

  • boy scouts

Mt. Zion is proud to be involved in the scouting program as it seeks to help positively shape the lives of young people. Mt. Zion is the home church for Cub Scout Pack #10 and Boy Scout Troop #10.

  • Congregational care team

The gift of life that we have been given is filled with mountain top experiences as well as time spent in the wilderness. As Christians, as the Body of Christ, we are all called to travel through life together. Whether it is the birth of a child, illness, or loss of a loved one, we are called and gifted to provide connection, consolation, and comfort.
