THE ROOM IN THE INN is a ministry that Mt. Zion participates in during the winter months. New this year, we will run this mission on only the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesday nights from December – March. On these nights, we open the doors of our Youth House to provide overnight housing and hot meals for 10 homeless neighbors who are screened and approved through the Urban Ministries Center. Please prayerfully consider volunteering your time, providing a meal or donating items off the RITI wish list. If you have a group that is interested in serving please sign up early because spots will be filling quickly. Visit the RITI page on the Mt Zion website (http://mtzionumc.net/room-in-the-inn) for a list of volunteer opportunities, the full wish list and online volunteer sign up. Donations can be dropped off at the Youth House. For more info contact Lisa Strom at email@example.com or 704-277-3687. Thanks!
Wednesday @ the Well Service - Wednesday, December 2nd we will be worshiping in a different way. Advent is a time to celebrate the peace, joy, love, and hope that Christ brings the world. Our world needs more of all of this. For this reason, the Sanctuary will also be open from 4:30-8 pm for people to go in and pray for Paris and all of our world. We will also be gathering together to make Advent Wreaths in the Family Life Center from 6-7 pm and to celebrate the peace, joy, love, and hope we have found in Christ.
