The Vision Team/Building Committee will be hosting a church-wide Participate in Priorities meeting on 2 occasions in the Family Life Center/Gym:

Monday, May 20, 2013 from 6:00-7:45pm

Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 3:00-5:00pm

The Vision Team/Building Committee will soon be setting priorities for the three major components of the Mt. Zion Vision.  These three are:  A Senior Ministry Center on the extended campus;  expanded Educational Facilities; and expanded Worship space on the main campus.  Childcare will be available.  Click here for more information.

Stop Hunger Now Food Packaging Event

Saturday, June 1, 2013
09:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Gym

Stop Hunger Now is sponsored by the 4th/5th Grade Sunday School Class. People are invited on Saturday, June 1 from 9:00am-12:00pm to come and package meals for the hungry. The goal is to raise $7,000 for this event and to package hundreds of meals for the hungry.

Mt. Zion United Methodist Church welcomes all to its services, including those with communion. The church's regular worship times are 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00 am Sunday mornings. Since 1827, the people of Mt. Zion UMC have sought to be God's people so that God might be a part of the community in which we live.  We believe that the heart of the community has been, is, and shall be, the Church.  Because of that belief, we welcome all people in search of God's teaching who desire a spiritual home.  Our intention is to build upon our great heritage of service to our community and world by realizing an even greater vision for the future.
