Local Needs

In an effort to keep their inventory balanced and the shelves well-stocked,

Ada Jenkins has asked Mt. Zion to provide in April: salad dressing and soup

(low sodium).

They are always happy to accept miscellaneous items and have an ongoing

need for dry cat & dog food in 3-5 lb bags. Also consider making a

donation of new tarps, new men's socks (size large) and large, warm

blankets for their homeless clients.

Please bring your items to church and place them in one of three bin

locations (the office area, the Sanctuary basement level near the elevator,

and the Education Building upper level nears the center stairs) or you can

take them directly to Ada Jenkins.

Thank you!  If you have any questions or would like more information,

please contact Laurie Knight at appfan1188@carolina.rr.com.

Easter Bags:

This year Mt. Zion will be blessing 132 local children from the Ada Jenkins and Neighborhood C.A.R.E Centers with Easter bags filled with toys, fun items and even a chocolate bunny. The children range in age from 0-17 and the cost of each bag is approximately $15. You can help by making a monetary donation to sponsor one or more children...any amount will be greatly appreciated! Please make your check payable to Mt. Zion UMC and write "Easter Bag" in the memo line. Thank you!
